Designed in 1950 by Oscar Niemeyer, the Lucas Nogueira Garcez Pavilion, popularly known as the Oca do Ibirapuera, is part of the group of cultural buildings constructed within Ibirapuera Park.
The Oca was built between 1951 and 1954. It is a circular-plan building, crowned by a large dome and comprising four internal floors. The structure previously housed the São Paulo Museum of Aeronautics and the Museum of Folklore. Today, it functions exclusively as an exhibition pavilion.
