Part of the architectural complex of the Memorial da América Latina Foundation, the Victor Civita Latin-American Library was conceived and built alongside the rest of the complex. Erected beneath a 90-meter-long beam, suspended between two pillars, and featuring large glass panels that allow natural light to enter the interior spaces, the library was organized with the aim of creating and consolidating a center for Latin American studies within Latin America itself. Thus, a multimedia and multidisciplinary collection specialized in regional themes was established.
