Erected beneath a 90-meter-long beam, suspended between two pillars, and featuring large glass panels that allow natural light to enter the interior spaces, the library was organized with the aim of creating and consolidating a center for Latin American studies within Latin America itself. Thus, a multimedia and multidisciplinary collection specialized in regional themes was established.
