7851London & River Plate Bank BuildingTTenVocabulário Colaborativo em Artes e Arquitetura active approved London & River Plate Bank BuildingLocated in São Paulo’s Historic Triangle, the eclectic Neo-Gothic building, constructed in 1912 by the architectural firm Lindenberg, Alves & Assumpção and designed by Felisberto Ranzini, was originally used as the headquarters of the English bank London & River Plate Bank. Later, the Banco Comercial do Estado de São Paulo also occupied the building as its main office. Since 1992, the structure has been listed as a protected heritage site by the Municipal Council for the Preservation of the Historical, Cultural and Environmental Heritage of the City of São Paulo (Conpresp).
