Meyer, William Abdalla, and Humberto Serpa won the competition for the construction of the headquarters of the Development Bank of Minas Gerais (BDMG) in 1969. The modernist building, constructed in exposed concrete with a robust structural frame and crowned by a structural bracing grid, was completed in 1973.
