The green area was a remnant of the Atlantic Forest and was preserved when the land was subdivided. The park&apos;s landscape design dates back to 1966 and was created by Rosa Grena Kliass, with contributions from Carlos Welker and botanist Helmut Schlik.&lt;/p&gt; </note></mads>
