São Francisco Square <p>Largo de São Francisco is located in the historical center of the city of São Paulo and, as early as the 17th century, saw the construction of the Convent of São Francisco, which later gave its name to the square, as during the 18th century the external area was also known as Largo do Capim. At the beginning of the 19th century, the Faculty of Law was established there, remaining in the old convent building until 1936, when it was transferred to the new building constructed according to a design by the Portuguese architect Ricardo Severo.</p>
