In this area, adjacent to the Consola\u00e7\u00e3o Church, the Seminary for Female Students operated until 1950, when the group of buildings was demolished, giving way to a large parking lot. In the 1960s, road expansion led to the proposal to create the square and construct an architectural complex that would integrate the avenues at different levels. This project was completed in 1970 and underwent several subsequent renovations until the reform began in 2010, which is the current configuration of Roosevelt Square. "}]}
