The building's renovation project was designed by Roberto Fasano and Dan Juan Antonio.
The Museum is affiliated with the São Paulo State Secretariat for Culture and Creative Economy as a cultural center and houses a museum and archival collection that includes photographs, posters, image and sound equipment, CDs, DVDs, periodicals, and books.
