The annex, now a school, was the site of the Santa Casa de Misericórdia de Olinda Hospital. The building was burned down by the Dutch in 1630. With the reconstruction in 1655 and renovations carried out over the years, the Baroque style and Portuguese Renaissance features were preserved.</span></p> ]]> </dc:description></metadata>
