Located within the Luz Railway Station building, the Museum of the Portuguese Language was inaugurated in 2006 as the result of a project conceived by Paulo Mendes da Rocha and Pedro Mendes da Rocha, which began in 2000.
Based on the concept of a living museum, the Museum of the Portuguese Language is in a constant process of transformation and renewal, dedicating itself to the history, evolution, and sociocultural aspects of the Portuguese language.
