Olga Baeta House

Olga Baeta House

Designed in 1956 by architects Vilanova Artigas and Carlos Cascaldi, the Olga Baeta House, characterized by a Brutalist architectural language and aligned with Le Corbusier’s concept of architectural parti, presents the idea of interconnected spaces beneath a single span. Its structure is defined by the solid end walls of the front and rear façades, as well as by the openings on the side façades, with the program organized on split levels.
In 1998, the building underwent renovations, during which a steel shoring element was installed at the central portico, chosen for its ease of execution.
