Cidade de Toronto Park is located in the Pirituba neighborhood, in the northern part of São Paulo. The green area was donated to the city by the company that developed the neighborhoods in the region. The park was inaugurated in 1992, and its design was the result of a partnership between the city governments of São Paulo and Toronto that took place in the 1980s, a fact that inspired its name.
