Silvio Romero Square is located in the Tatuapé neighborhood, in the eastern part of the city of São Paulo, and was once known as Largo da Conceição because of the church of the same name that has been located there since the end of the 19th century. The square's name was changed in the 1930s and it has always been an important landmark for the neighborhood.
