Commander Manuel de Melo Pimenta Square is located in the Pinheiros neighborhood, in the western part of São Paulo. The area was part of the urbanization project that followed the straightening of the Pinheiros River in the second half of the 20th century. The square is also known by the name of the Rainha da Paz school, which is located next to it.
