Sul-Americano Bank

Sul-Americano Bank

Designed in 1961 and completed in 1965, the Banco Sul Americano building is an emblematic example of Brazilian modernism, characterized by the concept of an open floor plan in the tower and a modular reinforced-concrete structure, as well as the contrast between horizontal and vertical volumes. Created by architects Luiz Roberto Carvalho Franco, Rino Levi, and Roberto Cerqueira César, it is recognized as a cultural heritage site of São Paulo, listed by both CONDEPHAAT and CONPRESP. It currently serves as the headquarters of Itaúsa S.A.
